I turned 21 on Tuesday. Am I a grown up now? Do I have real responsibilities?
I celebrated with some of my favourite people last Saturday and it was a night filled with love and giggles. Anyone that attended knew I just thanked them a billion times over. It happens every birthday.
BTW how freaking pale do I look in all the photos. Dayuum. This girl has not seen sun in a while.
I think I feel the same at 21. Though I am definitely trying to figure out who I am this year and I hope I am successful somewhat. There's so much to learn and grow and I hope it is a year filled with happiness and joy.
I don't know how to do fireworks photography, so this was the best photo I managed to capture on NYE. I've definitely neglected this little space here for quite a while and I am quite sorry in doing so. 2015 was an intense year and I just never had the time to focus on this. I'm not quite sure what kind of year 2016 will be but I hope it's an amazing one. I hope to grow and learn and explore. I am forever grateful for the special people I have in my life that keep me sane and alive. I hope in 2016 I get back into blogging a bit more and documenting my life. Definitely more to come! Stay tuned!
So my last post on here was pretty depressing. Depressing would be an understatement. For the month of August I was actually on acne medication (Roaccutane), pretty sure you may know someone who has used it before. Essentially one of its side effects is mood swings and I've asked around and it doesn't happen to everyone, but I was one of the lucky few that experienced these effects. So I was very down in the dumps in August and it made it really hard for me to focus on my studies and be happy and present around my family and friends. In late August I made the decision to stop using the medication because I was constantly crying. Three weeks later now, I'm back to my usual self.
But other than that, it's been seven weeks since uni started and I haven't blogged yet. Just lots of uni feels and everything in between. Yummy meals, cat cafes (ty rb!) and visits to the Opera House and the Powerhouse Museum for design research for studio. I also cut my hair a while back, it's shoulder length, yay for shorter hair.
7 weeks down, 8 weeks to go. Halfway through the semester; the final leg of this degree. Let's do this.
