So I was using inks the other day and I used paper towels to blot excess ink, when I had finished with my work I realised that my paper towels were really vibrant and quite awesome look. So I let it dry and once it did I decided to turn it into a bow. These simple bows work great for giving your gifts that little extra touch.
I have exams soon. I'm stressing out again. I can't wait for this to all be over.
So I finished knitting my scarf and its the warmest thing ever. I love it and I'm really happy with how it's turned out. It's taken like 3 months - but that's because I didn't knit it consistently. Its an infinity scarf that wraps around twice. On another note, I still haven't bought new ugg boots yet, been meaning to do so for a while now. It'll get round to it soon - no time for shopping. Gotta study. Exams in 2 weeks. Grr.
- still have the sniffles.
- florence + the machine - breath of life is a good song
- integrating secx gives you ln(secx+tanx)+c
- i need a hair cut
So sometimes I like to just play with liquid eyeliner.
Then I drew an infinity symbol on my wrist.
So now its a tattoo. lol.
It lasts for about a couple of hours, so when I mean temporary, I mean temporary.
You can draw designs or write "inspirational words" .
I used to write maths formulas on my hand with liquid eyeliner - I mean it works.
In other news, I am sick. I have a blocked and runny nose and a sore throat. This sucks.
p.s. I dedicate this post to molly, happy early birthday hun and plus I know how much you love tattoos ;)
So this is something that I kinda discovered by accident. I usually straighten/curl my hair in my bedroom and my bedroom's carpeted and I'd always wondered where you're meant to put your straightener/iron when you need to put the iron down. It's still hot so its kinda dangerous to just leave on the carpet. Hence, I use a ceramic plate. I mean, nothing's going to get burnt so.. it's all good.
Collared blouse (is actually my school shirt lol) - any white collared blouse will work
Aviators (Dad's) - $0
book clutch - is a diy - tutorial will hopefully be up soon
Love this new sweater. But sweater made me sweat cause the weatherman told me it was gonna be 21 degrees - raining. Damn. Today I got to attend The Innovators Runway show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia as a guest of one of the designers Cynthia Thai of Ctee. Photos up later tonight. While lining up to go in, I saw all these "fashion forward" people. It felt weird. I didn't fit in, cause in the reality of it all, I'm just some high school kid who writes silly stuff on the internet. I don't consider myself fashionable - I'm just Gracie who wears clothes like everyone else. I don't know but that was just how I felt. I guess maybe one day I will return older, mature (really? nah) and possibly more "fashion forward". But for now I'm just Gracie and her blog and maths homework. Ha.
p.s. what do you think about the new background? I like it, but these were taken with a tripod and I can't be bothered to get the tripod out every time I need to take photos. poo.
p.p.s. I got the sweater in size 16 cause sweaters are always so much comfier when they are baggy.
Just a quick one. I love decorating my mason jars/glass jar.
For the easiest option I roll a sheet of decorative paper and slip it in.
For more refined options, you can draw designs in permanent marker, do collages or paint designs.
