On the weekend, a couple of girlfriends and I decided to spend some time in the sun and get some vitamin d. The weather was perf and we shared girly conversations over scrumptious burgers at a local joint. I brought my polaroid along for some happy snaps, compared to my usual companion, my dlsr, whom I treasure. Last summer I hit the beach almost every week and rocked tanned Gracie, which had not been seen before. However, earlier this year my doc told me to enjoy the sun in spoonfuls as the fairness of my skin made me more sensitive towards the sun. Which sucks. So less beaching dis year I guess.

Also NYE tomorrow, how has another year gone by - I feel so old nowadays, coworker thought I was 20 years old, one of my tutoring kids thinks I'm 25. wot.

Anyways have a lovely new years eve, see you on the other side ;)

Hey hello,

So by the time I finish typing all this up and putting all the photos in, Christmas will be long gone and it'll be the 26th already. But whatevs trevs, thought I'd blog an update on what's been happening.

So I've kind of gone MIA with the blog for a while. Basically since it's the holidays I've been working to make monies for travels. Bought my own plane ticket to China, which left a big hole in my wallet and ever since then I've been mending that hole. Checking my finances recently, I've managed to fill that hole up in the last month or so, with extra overflow. If you get my drift.

Apart from work, I've been catching up with mates and what not - especially the ones I haven't seen cause of uni. But at the same time, all my friends are working and bringing in dat cash so I just haven't been going out that much.

To fill up my time, I've been watching heaps of movies and tv shows before sleeping at 1am. My most recent not-really-an-accomplishment but i-feel-it's-an-accomplishment was finishing season 1 of The Carrie Diares and catching up to the most recent eps of season 2. The prequel to 'Sex and the City' - it's just like a rom-com but tv show style; easy to watch.

It's boxing day, tomorrow, or today I guess. I feel like I need to stop shopping. The other day I was like NO MORE. And then my friend Sheila and I saw this cropped tartan top with 70% off. I was like golly - it's a must.

p.s. #selfies this is what happens when imma bored and playing with makeup - yay for red lips!!

I just read back what I typed and it sounds like a god damn diary entry. LOL. ayeeeee

Last night, I went to check out the end of year architecture graduate exhibition - so the third years and master's work. The standard is set pretty high and you could just see the exquisite quality of work as an overriding factor in all of the majors. What was interesting was the fact that I had been to graduate exhibitions before starting my degree and was amazed at the detail of the works, however now, after a year of architorture, I now know what it's like to be on the other side. To be the ones making portfolios, doing the drawings and presenting with insufficient sleep. And the all nighters, the painstakingly number of hours you spend trying to draft to perfection, the model making - just all of it. So behind every work, there was a student paving away trying to meet the deadline the night before it was due. Just a thought.

Exhibition goes from 3rd -9th of December, pop in to check it out if you have the time.

 day one

Day 1 was epic. We saw Zedd, Sebastian Ingrosso, Calvin Harris. We were in the front mosh pit and the view was phenomenal.

day two

Day 2 was the cherry on top the icing. We were in the front mosh pit and the view was phenomenal. I'm a raver. Didn't really consider myself one before stereo, but yep I'm a raver. My legs are so sore from dancing but hell it'd do it all over again.

Overall I thought Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso were the best - they were both from Swedish House Mafia - mah jam. Progressive house. EDM. YAR.

Drop that beat yo!
