If you know me, you know I like three main genres of music - house, chill house and indie. So I thought I'd compile a little playlist sort of thing of my favs.

HOUSE : for the party peep in me. Always keen for the doof doof - anywhere anytime.

CHILL HOUSE: I only discovered chill house when I started uni last year. I stumbled upon one of the greatest youtube channels ever, Majestic Casual. Chill house defined my first year of uni, it was fresh, chill and soothing. The first song I ever heard on their channel was Goldroom's Fifteen - the Oxford Remix- oh my lord that was so breathtaking.

INDIE/ ALTERNATIVE: and my indie side - love love love. I had to put in Vance Joy's Riptide as the beautiful song topped the Triple J's Hottest 100 on Australia Day.

My taste in music varies greatly, shifting from one end of the spectrum to the other. I think I have the oddest iTunes library but I don't know where I'd be without music in my ears. I feel I could go on and on about songs but really all I want to say is enjoy the music.

On Saturday night, my friends and I decided to go to The Star and hang out for a bit. No real reason why we went, but just for fun really. Sometimes it's fun to just get dressed up and go out.

Beaching in this thirty degrees Sydney summer heatwave. It felt delicious floating and drifting in the ocean again. So much easier to get around to beaches these days cause we can drive. I want a car omg. I want to travel omg. Okay we gettit gracie, you want to do many things. But man, WHO WANTS TO GIVE ME A CAR?

My buds and I ventured to Milk Beach (literally a mini road-trip), a secluded tiny beach with the most beautiful view of the city skyline. It was so tranquil - loved it.

We later ended up at Bondi in search of food. Licking away at Ben and Jerry's we later decided to hop into the water. The waves at Bondi, you honestly can't compare. Minimal seaweed to be caught in unwanted places and waves that crashed against you - amazing.

No I am not drunk or tipsy at this moment, if you're wondering about the post title. I've just got a light buzz on the sexy topic of adventures. I realised how badly I want to just go everywhere. And the second thing I realised was that - okay to go everywhere I need moolah, which means I'm determined to work and save as much as I can so I can go wherever I want. I haven't had this buzz for quite a while to be honest. I kind of feel it's possibly another one of the reasons why I don't feel like blogging. The utter lack of inspiration.

However today my mates and I decided to be reckless youth in revolt and spend our afternoon at the arcade. Holy mother of god, we had so much fun I'm surprised at the amount of much fun we had. I love that we could just be kids, fuck growing up and sipping wine at fancy bars (although that is quite nice most of the time), no we don't wanna be old. Dodgem cars make my life.

Anyways tonight I somehow ended up at this. This is just adding to the buzz. Man I'm missing the raving. Last summer, Million Voices and Midnight City were my jam.

9 . JANUARY . 2 0 1 4

My excuse for the lack of blogging is
1. I lazy
2. Not feeling it
3. I lazy LOL

Yer, don't know I've had mates tell my blog's looking a bit dry come the new year, but the reason is that my life now is eat, sleep (rave) (repeat), jokes. No but seriously my life now is eat, sleep, drive to work, go out, drive home from work, sleep, eat, work, eat. There's a lot of eating.

Anyways, this little post here is from last Thursday, when me and my mates hung out at The Local Taphouse on the rooftop garden. We then headed to the city where we somehow ended up at Sydney Festival with a Stonehedge jumping castle called the Sacrilege. Man those 10mins on there made you feel like a kid again. We finished the night off with dinner at Vapiano - a moderately new Italian restaurant in the CBD. Didn't snap any pics of the food cause we were so hunger we just got into it.

So let us rejoice for the new year, lol only two weeks late.

I spent my last day of 2013 with some girlfriends, in which we spent the night celebrating with a birthday, the new year and munching on snacks. We made cocktails and to die for tandoori chicken.

We kind of all fell asleep at 3am and woke up to the new year with smile on our faces. It was a pretty good night. Almost every year I head out to the city to see the fireworks, so it was a nice change.
